Job Description

Summary

The Showroom Director is a pivotal role within the business, responsible for ensuring exceptional client experiences and achieving company objectives. This role involves planning and executing the showroom business plan, leading a high-performing team, and maintaining clear communication across the business.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure exceptional client service for both internal and external clients.
  • Identify and share best practices across the business.
  • Meet profit targets and manage costs within budget.
  • Achieve showroom objectives through KPIs.
  • Stay current with market competition and client shopping behaviors.
  • Manage performance of colleagues and provide development opportunities.
  • Lead showroom recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Represent the showroom at meetings.
  • Organize daily and weekly tasks through delegation and participation.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards.
  • Manage till and transactional procedures.
  • Participate in training and meetings as required.
  • Ensure adherence to company dress code standards.
  • Complete all training requirements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of retail management experience, ideally in a luxury environment.
  • Proven track record of sales achievements and performance delivery.
  • Jeweler or timepiece product knowledge.
  • External Jeweler or Retail qualifications.
  • Ability to develop and implement business strategies and manage budgets.
  • Highly numerate with ability to analyze sales performance.
  • Experience in leading, mentoring, and coaching a high-performing showroom team.
  • IT literate with evidence of CRM and networking skills.
