Summary
The Showroom Director leads and coaches a high performing showroom team to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve business objectives. This role plans and executes the showroom business plan, monitors KPIs and performance, manages budgets and costs, and acts as a communication link across the business while anticipating challenges and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Model exceptional client service for internal and external clients
- Identify and share best practices across the business and promote teamwork
- Ensure profit targets are met and costs remain within budget
- Deliver showroom objectives by achieving KPIs and sales targets
- Manage performance of colleagues with feedback and development
- Lead recruitment and retention for the showroom
- Organize daily and weekly tasks, delegate, and maintain procedures
- Maintain visual merchandising to company standards and manage till procedures
- Run and participate in showroom training, meetings, and visual merchandising changes
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years retail management experience, ideally in a luxury environment
- Proven track record of sales achievements and performance delivery
- Knowledge of jewelry or timepiece products
- Relevant jeweler or retail qualifications
- Ability to develop business strategies and manage budgets
- Numerate with ability to analyze sales performance
- Experience leading, mentoring, and coaching showroom teams
- IT literate with CRM and networking experience
