Summary
The Showroom Manager assists in managing general showroom functions with a focus on delivering excellent client service, cultivating a professional environment for staff, and supporting the management team in meeting business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales goals through clienteling and sourcing new clients
- Evaluate team performance and provide consistent coaching and development action plans
- Monitor market competition, watch trends and client shopping behaviors
- Strategically forecast, plan and manage payroll and staffing
- Manage daily operational tasks according to showroom standards
- Assist with recruitment and retention efforts
- Serve as a leader supporting the Showroom Director
- Develop and cascade product knowledge to the broader team
- Foster a luxury client experience through renowned and authentic service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail service experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Current knowledge of watch trends and marketplace competition
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office and retail systems for labor, inventory and sales reporting
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
