Summary
The Social Media Creative will drive the brand's expression across social platforms by developing and executing social-first, visually compelling content aligned with brand strategy. This role leads production from concept through post-production and collaborates cross-functionally to elevate storytelling and engagement on platforms such as Instagram. The position is based in New York City and contributes to brand consistency and innovation in digital formats.
Responsibilities
- Create original visual content for social media including campaign launches cultural moments and evergreen posts
- Drive digital-native innovation and implement new formats to stay ahead of social trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with brand product and commercial priorities
- Oversee all phases of social-first production from pre-production to post-production
- Develop branded style guidelines and design toolkits for various social formats
- Maintain visual brand aesthetics and ensure consistency across social channels
- Research and engage content creators providing briefs and art direction
- Analyze trends and competitive landscape to inform creative strategies
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content creator roles at agencies studios or in-house
- Experience with photography videography and editing
- Proficiency with Adobe programs including Premiere After Effects Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign
- Strong understanding of frame composition studio tools and motion design knowledge preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to articulate creative concepts
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Ability to manage physical requirements including standing walking and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Strong knowledge of beauty fashion and lifestyle video landscape
