Job Description

Summary

As a Software Engineer Intern at Nordstrom in Seattle, WA, you will engage in a dynamic learning experience, working alongside experienced mentors and teammates to create both online and offline experiences. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of technology, contributing to strategic projects and developing your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering, technical program managers, and UX teams to gain experience in coding, troubleshooting, and automation.
  • Work on diverse projects including web technology, API and application development, cloud technology, mobile apps, and infrastructure automations.
  • Contribute to strategic projects with defined milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with an anticipated graduation date of Fall 2026, Winter 2026, or Spring 2027.
  • Exposure to modern object-oriented and/or scripting languages such as Java, Golang, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Passionate, curious, and innovative with a strong desire to solve business problems using data-driven tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus.
