SummaryThe Solution Architect at Holt Renfrew partners with delivery teams to architect, design, and build flexible, scalable, and resilient applications and services. Reporting to the DVP of Enterprise Delivery, the Solution Architect assists with enterprise programs, working closely with the Enterprise Architect to develop overall solutions for the program. This role focuses on all business verticals within a retail environment, with experience working with SAP ERP modules and supporting all corporate systems and related integrations.
Responsibilities- Lead the business/functional architecture and strategy for solutions consistent with Holt Renfrew’s enterprise architecture.
- Provide architecture leadership in evaluating, selecting, and recommending strategies, technical solutions, and professional services.
- Lead design review sessions with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of software solutions and maintenance/enhancements to existing applications.
- Ensure operational platforms and associated systems are properly architected to meet business needs.
- Develop conceptual and logical data models and gather business and functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain current and future-state architecture models and documentation.
- Provide direction and leadership to design and integrate technology infrastructure.
- Mentor team members to enhance SAP support competencies.
- Participate in the development of application roadmaps and strategies.
Requirements- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, and 5-7+ years of Architecture experience.
- Retail or supply chain experience strongly preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience with SAP ERP (ECC/S4, CAR, HANA).
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF, Gartner, or Zachman.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with modern web application frameworks such as Angular, Spring MVC, or Node.js.
- Exposure to modern microservice-based architectures and service/reactive design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member in a multidisciplinary team.
