Spare Parts Specialist

Summary

Responsible for managing spare parts inventory and coordinating workflow with watchmakers and vendors to ensure timely service delivery and client satisfaction. Maintains inventory control processes and supports continuous improvements in service production. Requires strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills with a focus on accuracy and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory flow of parts through the shop
• Create and maintain inventory control processes, reporting and monitoring
• Fulfil part orders to watchmakers and monitor accuracy of requests
• Maintain vendor relationships through effective communication and purchasing
• Monitor service production to ensure timelines are met
• Implement productivity improvements and best practices
• Coordinate tasks with Retail Service Group to meet department goals
• Prioritize service requests based on urgency and impact

Requirements

• High school diploma required; some college preferred
• Experience in customer service, 3 years minimum
• Proficient computer skills including intermediate Excel and word processing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi task and prioritize effectively
• Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and data transcription
