Summary
Lead the planning and execution of high-profile image, press, exhibition and store opening events for the Americas zone, managing budgets, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders while supporting global event initiatives and reporting to senior events leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and propose event strategies and concepts aligned with brand objectives.
- Plan and execute end-to-end events including image activations, press events, exhibitions and store openings.
- Manage on-site logistics and ensure seamless guest experiences during events.
- Develop, maintain and reconcile local and global event budgets and track expenses.
- Identify, negotiate with and manage premium vendors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with senior manager and global events team to align on initiatives and brand guidelines.
- Prepare event briefs, post-event reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with legal, procurement and safety requirements for events.
- Mentor and guide event coordinators or assistants when applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive special event planning and execution experience preferably in luxury retail fashion or hospitality.
- Proven track record managing high-profile complex events from concept to completion.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Demonstrated financial acumen in budget development management and reconciliation.
- Excellent negotiation vendor management and communication skills.
- Highly organized detail-oriented and creative with passion for delivering memorable experiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
- Flexibility to travel and work evenings and weekends as required.
