Specialist, Designated Beauty Advisor (DBA)

Summary

The Specialist, Designated Beauty Advisor develops deep, long-lasting relationships with customers to drive sales, service, and brand loyalty. This in-store role is responsible for achieving assigned brand sales targets and sharing expert product knowledge with the selling team. The Specialist supports events, merchandising, and client communication to grow and retain a personal client base.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary customer service and personalized consultations on the sales floor
• Meet and exceed personal and assigned brand sales and service targets
• Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through acquisition, development, and retention
• Share product knowledge and support the store selling team with training and expertise
• Drive brand sales through event execution, marketing opportunities, and assortment recommendations
• Attend educational sessions including product and vendor training
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and related sales support tasks
• Communicate with personal clients via phone, mail, and electronic methods regarding events, requests, and follow-up
• Resolve customer service issues and escalate to selling management when required

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a commission-based sales environment
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets; prior luxury retail product specialist experience preferred
• Fully bilingual in French and English
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong teamwork, multitasking, and entrepreneurial sales mindset
