Summary
Support the Merchandise Planning team for Fragrance and Beauty in New York, owning aspects of SKU forecasting, collaborating with cross functional partners, and contributing to budget and inventory goals. The role focuses on data analysis, forecasting accuracy, and project management while participating in monthly forecast validation and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Support and own key aspects of catalog SKU forecast including base business promotional plans and seasonality
- Prepare analysis for monthly forecast validation meetings with marketing sales and finance
- Liaise with sales and marketing to ensure forecasts reflect company plans and promotions
- Contribute to the yearly budget process by helping build company targets and highlighting risks and opportunities
- Share accountability for service level inventory targets and excess and obsolete inventory goals with supply planners
- Manage projects and facilitate cross functional processes and change management
- Provide data visualization and reporting to support decision making
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in planning or related field
- BA or BS degree
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with data visualization and storytelling using tables and charts
- Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
- Ability to navigate complexity and support transformation and change management
- Willingness to work on site at least three days per week in New York
