Summary
Lead daily reverse logistics operations and strategic initiatives at a distribution site to improve sustainability, efficiency, and operational excellence while partnering with Supply Chain, Transportation, and Fragrance and Beauty teams. Manage on-site company store operations and drive process innovation, technology integration, and environmental responsibility across the network.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day reverse logistics operations including planning assigning and directing work for union associates
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve lead times and establish new capabilities
- Use data driven insights to inform strategic decisions and identify optimization opportunities
- Develop mentor and provide performance evaluations for staff
- Oversee productivity capacity planning and SLAs in partnership with senior management
- Design and maintain business process documentation procedures and training materials
- Drive operational transformation projects including process design system testing and implementation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain training programs
- Standardize SOPs to unify operations across distribution centers
Requirements
- College degree preferred or minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a distribution environment
- Supervisory skills with ability to support team success
- Flexible schedule with ability to support occasional evening or weekend needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferably Manhattan Associates
- Familiarity with warehouse control and distribution systems processes and equipment
- Ability to interpret corporate policies and apply to daily activities
- Familiarity with LEAN concepts and continuous process improvement models
