Job Description

Summary

The Time & Attendance Specialist supports accurate, timely, and compliant timekeeping and payroll operations. This role assists employees and managers with timekeeping questions, adjustments, and requests while ensuring data is ready for payroll processing. The position is partially remote and requires at least three days per week in the Piscataway office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the time-off inbox and provide timely support to employees and managers.
  • Review, process, track, and document timesheet adjustments and approvals.
  • Audit time-off, attendance, and leave balances and follow up on outstanding requests.
  • Validate timekeeping data before payroll processing and communicate issues to payroll partners.
  • Guide users on timekeeping processes, policies, and system navigation.
  • Partner with system administrators to resolve issues, support audits and testing, and improve processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with UKG Pro or UKG Pro Workforce Dimensions is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of payroll processing and timekeeping practices.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, and comfort analyzing large data sets.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion handling confidential information.
  • Associate degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, or a related finance field preferred.
