Specialist Transportation Operations

As a Specialist in Transportation Operations at Chanel, you will play a crucial role in managing the strategic aspects of global transportation. You will coordinate domestic shipments from Chanel distribution centers and boutiques to various clients and partners, ensuring efficient and effective transportation solutions.

• Oversee planning and routing of outbound orders in compliance with partner guidelines.
• Schedule shipments to corporate offices, boutiques, and e-commerce facilities with appropriate carriers.
• Collaborate with Fashion Account Management to manage outbound shipments to boutiques.
• Support high jewelry movements and manage carrier claims program.
• Administer parcel/courier carrier processes and conduct performance reviews.
• Proactively solve problems and communicate with relevant departments.
• Participate in internal team calls to review business goals and workloads.
• Coordinate special transportation projects and monitor daily tracking reports.
• Support network and lane analysis requests to improve delivery service and cost.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 2-4 years of experience in domestic logistics.
• Experience in SOP creation and operational process flows.
• Knowledge of domestic transportation modes and shipping documentation.
• Ability to manage relationships with technical and business professionals.
• High proficiency with computer systems and software applications.
• Superior communication skills and solid analytical abilities.
• Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence.
