Summary
The Specialist, Designated Beauty Advisor builds deep, long‑lasting customer relationships to drive brand sales and loyalty within a luxury retail environment. This role is accountable for achieving personal and brand sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, supporting merchandising and events, and maintaining strong vendor and management relationships. The position requires strong product knowledge, a commission sales background, and full bilingual fluency in French and English.
Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver extraordinary service to all customers and exceed personal sales and service targets
- Develop and retain a loyal personal client base by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships
- Share expert product knowledge with the store selling team and maintain relationships with buyer, vendor, and selling manager
- Drive brand sales through identifying marketing opportunities, executing events, and recommending assortment changes
- Attend product, vendor, and store educational sessions; perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and related sales support tasks
- Communicate regularly with personal clients about events, merchandise requests, follow‑up, and special occasions; resolve customer service issues and partner with selling management as needed
- Comply with health & safety policies, privacy regulations, and cyber security measures
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a commission‑based sales environment
- Prior luxury retail sales experience as a product specialist preferred
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets and strong entrepreneurial drive
- Highly collaborative team player with the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Fully bilingual in French and English
