Summary
Responsible for daily operations of the general office and operational functions of the jewelry department under the Assistant General Manager Operations. Role includes administrative tasks, inventory and jewelry handling, internal audits, and supporting store operations to ensure compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Open the store including safe and registers and distribute reports
- Maintain morning cash entry, process bank deposits, and reconcile chargebacks
- Receive verify and book jewelry and process re-tickets RTVs transfers and price changes
- Manage case counts reconcile discrepancies and maintain repair logs
- Prepare special order requests Statements of Sale and handle trunk show merchandise
- Communicate with corporate merchants accounts payable inventory control and vendors
- Monitor vault safe contents for internal audit readiness and adhere to audit standards
- Assist managers and associates on the selling floor and process fulfillment orders
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements
- Comfortable communicating across styles and building interpersonal relationships
- Strong computer skills including Google and MS Office and ability to adapt to technology
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs climb ladders and handle racks and carts of merchandise
- Ability to multi task work in a fast paced team environment and follow policies and procedures
- Verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle telephone and face to face interactions professionally
- Maintain confidentiality when handling issues and attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and adhere to dependability standards
