Summary
Responsible for daily general office operations and jewelry department operational functions under the Assistant General Manager, Operations. Supports cash procedures, shipping and receiving, inventory reconciliation, and customer issue resolution while maintaining audit readiness and adherence to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Open store including safe, controller, and registers and distribute reports
- Perform morning cash entry, process bank deposits, reconcile chargebacks, and count register and petty cash
- Receive verify and book jewelry and other merchandise per company standards
- Process re-tickets returns to vendor transfers ASN shipments and price changes
- Maintain case counts reconcile discrepancies and track repair logs and invoices
- Receive and verify merchandise for trunk shows assist in setup takedown and recap results
- Prepare special order requests and statements of sale and communicate with corporate merchants vendors and accounts payable
- Monitor vault safe contents maintain internal audit readiness and adhere to audit standards
- Assist managers and associates on the selling floor and process fulfillment orders
Requirements
- Comfortable communicating across styles and building interpersonal relationships
- Ability to evaluate progress against performance drivers and identify opportunities and risks
- Strong computer skills including Google and MS Office and adaptability to new technology
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs climb ladders and handle racks and carts of merchandise
- Ability to multitask work in a fast paced team environment and follow store policies and procedures
- Verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle telephone and face to face interactions professionally
- Maintain confidentiality when handling issues and adhere to dependability standards
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs and perform ad hoc responsibilities as assigned
