Summary
The Sr. Analyst, Replenishment drives replenishment initiatives with distributors to maximize sales and depletions by implementing proactive ordering processes, optimizing inventory and transportation, and leading collaborative distributor meetings. This hybrid role supports transformation of replenishment tools and processes while serving as a primary contact for distributor operational issues. The role requires strong supply chain systems knowledge and experience with distributor relationships in a B2B environment.
Responsibilities
- Suggest purchase orders to distributors based on priorities to maximize depletions and maintain stable days of inventory.
- Calculate distributor needs using forecast, lead time, and safety stock parameters.
- Lead collaborative meetings with distributors and market leads to adjust to changing needs.
- Anticipate supply and business priorities and ensure smooth SKU transitions.
- Reserve stock in SAP and monitor PO processing until delivery to distributor.
- Optimize transportation and sourcing decisions to improve efficiency.
- Run proactive weekly process review meetings to ensure smooth execution.
- Evaluate and implement route to market efficiencies and resolve order exceptions.
- Drive replenishment transformation and adoption of new tools and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business analytics, or business management.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics.
- Strong understanding of supply chain mechanics and importing and distribution in the U.S.
- Proficiency with systems including Excel, SAP, reporting systems and planning tools such as Anaplan.
- Experience working with distributors or customers in a B2B environment.
- Experience in operations or supply chain and familiarity with wines and spirits three tier system preferred.
- Action oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, work independently, and manage stakeholder priorities.
