SummaryAs a Sr Analyst in Supply Chain Planning, you will lead demand processes and activities to generate sales forecasts, coordinating with key stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, and Finance. You will optimize inventory levels based on Service Level Agreements and distribution needs, working in a hybrid capacity from our NYC office.
Responsibilities- Build sales plans by SKU using sell-out forecasts and targeted inventory days at the distributor level.
- Provide sales forecasts in APO by SKU and location based on sourcing matrix.
- Manage the flow of depletions to build accurate sales forecasts aligned with business trends and financial targets.
- Enter Resupply POs in SAP to ensure stock coverage.
- Ensure monthly sales forecasts align with financial budgets, SKU quotas, and bottle size quotas.
- Manage distributor sourcing to ensure demand is forecasted in the correct location.
- Organize product launches with sales, marketing, and production teams.
- Manage vintage transitions using FIFO accounting principles.
- Define ways to improve sales forecasts by product, month, and state.
- Organize and lead monthly S&OP forecast meetings with spirits marketing brand teams.
- Support the Director of Supply Chain Planning during monthly financial S&OP forecast reviews.
- Manage monthly S&OP calendars for full company visibility of brand activities.
- Work with brand teams and sales regions to reduce slow-moving inventory.
- Manage allocations for VAPs and products with scarcity constraints.
- Reconcile allocated items quarterly to ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Support operations on special projects and process improvements.
Requirements- Bachelor’s or MBA degree and/or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of demand or supply planning experience.
- Ability to balance needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
- Aptitude for learning and adapting to new information and environments.
- Solid understanding of supply chain mechanics.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage time and resources effectively.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with APO for sales forecasting, Power BI for reporting, Anaplan, and Excel for ad hoc reporting.
