Summary
Senior engineering leader responsible for driving the vision and execution of Finance Technology platform efforts, overseeing internal applications and SaaS products, and partnering across Finance and Sales transformation initiatives. Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team to deliver scalable revenue data pipelines and technical solutions while embracing modern tools and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Set and execute Finance Technology vision and strategy to meet company goals.
- Guide, build, and motivate an engineering team to deliver quickly and predictably using agile practices.
- Contribute to architecture, coding, test plans, deployment planning, and operations.
- Manage multiple concurrent tracks of work and drive operational excellence in a DevOps model.
- Partner with Program, Product, and Business teams to establish goals and long-term vision including OKRs.
- Hire and expand the team, developing growth plans and mentoring engineers.
- Own end-to-end cross-functional projects including product definition and roadmap planning.
- Promote adoption of new technologies and tools such as AI coding assistants.
- Transition reliance from contractors to a supported on-site team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering industry experience.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication with ability to influence stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Deep familiarity with multi-cloud ecosystems including GCP, OCI, AWS, and Azure.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as Vertex AI and Looker.
- Experience owning and operating business critical SaaS solutions and custom systems.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle Cloud ERP is a plus.
