Summary

The Sr Learning and Leadership Specialist at Nordstrom in Seattle, WA, plays a crucial role in supporting enterprise learning programs by aligning learning needs with business priorities. This hybrid position requires collaboration with HR and business leaders to implement learning strategies and experiences, ensuring they are data-driven and impactful.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with HR and talent management teams to identify learning needs and strategies.
  • Design and develop scalable learning solutions for diverse audiences.
  • Facilitate learning using adult learning philosophies in virtual or in-person settings.
  • Engage in strategic planning and execution to enhance learning processes and systems.
  • Analyze and measure the impact of initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Research and present industry trends and advanced learning approaches.
  • Lead projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment with urgency and results orientation.
  • Deliver exemplary internal customer service through professionalism and project management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in adult learning and talent management solutions.
  • Experience in needs analysis and data analysis with a consultative approach.
  • Familiarity with design thinking and agile learning development techniques.
  • Experience in managing complex learning projects within budget and timelines.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with HR and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with clarity and conciseness.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Workday preferred.
  • Retail industry knowledge preferred.
