Summary
Senior manager responsible for leading customer service, logistics, and demand planning for the Caribbean and Latin America region. Role oversees customs compliance, importation, transportation, warehouse activities, consignment logistics for events, and vendor relationships while aligning distribution and inventory strategies with business goals. Manages a team, sets goals, drives recruitment and training, and coordinates cross functional collaboration with sales and central teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customs compliance across all importing countries in the LATAM region and act as Importer of Record where applicable.
- Oversee importation processes, transportation, warehouse activities, and logistics for consignment pieces for events.
- Lead demand planning to optimize stock availability distribution and goods in transit management.
- Manage customer service operations including order processing controls customer master file and dispute handling.
- Define and implement business flows support special projects such as new stores pop ups and events roadshows.
- Coordinate with vendors freight forwarders brokers and local partners and manage RFQs and vendor relationships.
- Monitor performance provide monthly reporting and contribute to budget construction and cost control.
- Approve and supervise vendor invoicing and payments and maintain activity traceability and reporting.
- Recruit train motivate and develop the department ensuring adherence to processes and achievement of goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics supply chain management or merchandising.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration supply chain management or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Deep knowledge of Latin American import regulations trade practices and logistical challenges.
- Proven ability to manage teams deliver time pressured projects and work in dynamic environments.
- Experience managing customs importation processes and acting as Importer of Record where required.
- Ability to manage inventory consignment and quarterly inventory processes at regional office.
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish Portuguese is a plus.
