Job Description

Summary

As a Sr Manager EHS at EssilorLuxottica, you will be responsible for executing environmental, health, and safety policies across multiple RxO labs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will establish relationships with internal business partners to influence EHS performance improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with EHS regulations, including documentation, reporting, and training.
  • Identify and maintain systems for continuous improvement in EHS performance.
  • Analyze safety metrics and provide leadership with accurate reporting to support safety initiatives.
  • Manage Worker’s Compensation claims to ensure timely reporting and cost management.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments and develop action plans.
  • Provide technical support for EHS compliance and accident prevention programs.
  • Interface with external regulatory agencies such as OSHA and the Fire Department.
  • Collaborate with internal partners on new product, equipment, and process introductions.
  • Partner with global EHS personnel to leverage best practices.
Requirements
  • BS/BA in safety, environmental, ergonomics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements related to EHS compliance.
  • Experience leading change in a large manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including interfacing with Directors and VPs.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, changing organization.
  • Certified Safety Professional or other EHS certifications a plus.
