Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with EHS regulations, including documentation, reporting, and training.
- Identify and maintain systems for continuous improvement in EHS performance and compliance.
- Analyze safety metrics and provide leadership with accurate reporting to support safety initiatives.
- Manage activities for Worker’s Compensation claims to ensure timely reporting and cost management.
- Lead cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments and develop action plans.
- Provide technical support for EHS compliance and accident prevention programs.
- Interface with external regulatory agencies such as OSHA and the Fire Department.
- Collaborate with internal partners on EHS initiatives and new product introductions.
- Partner with global EHS personnel to leverage best practices.
Requirements- BS/BA in safety, environmental, ergonomics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing organizations.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements related to EHS compliance.
- Experience leading change in a large manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong communication skills, including interfacing with Directors and VPs.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, changing organization.
- Certified Safety Professional or other EHS certifications a plus.
