Summary
The Sr. Manager HR Business Partner collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence to develop and execute HR programs including talent management, succession planning, performance management, recruiting, compensation planning, and associate relations. This role provides subject matter expertise, shapes practical HR strategies, and partners with business leaders to drive performance and change initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Consult with departments to identify performance gaps and recommend HR solutions.
- Drive HR standardization, processes, and efficiencies across the business unit.
- Advise and coach managers on leadership behaviors, development, and decision-making.
- Support manager accountability for performance management and employee development.
- Lead action plans to improve employee engagement for the business unit.
- Partner with Shared Services to influence organizational design and future state planning.
- Plan and execute organizational change interventions and transition activities.
- Prepare managers to implement change related to acquisitions or restructuring.
- Engage HR COE partners to address systemic opportunities consistently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, I/O Psychology or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years progressive business and HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and programs.
- Demonstrated success executing change initiatives in a matrix environment.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
