Sr Manager Strategic Sourcing

The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing at Nordstrom plays a crucial role in leading a team to develop sourcing strategies and manage suppliers for optimal value, quality, and service. This position involves partnering cross-functionally to achieve goals for Indirect Categories, managing a spend of over $350 million, and working in a hybrid capacity in downtown Seattle, WA.

• Support the development and execution of sourcing category strategies.

• Manage and measure supplier performance for continuous improvement.

• Demonstrate leadership in managing complex sourcing categories.

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years leading cross-functional teams in sourcing or supply chain.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Industry knowledge of store development, fixtures, store operations, and asset protection.
• Advanced knowledge of market analysis and sourcing strategies.
• Proven ability to build relationships and work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong experience with MS Office Suite and analytical tools.
• Knowledge of business ethics and procurement legal requirements.
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to influence senior levels.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
