Summary
The Sr. Manager Territory Lead will oversee and manage the Maryland, Delaware and Montgomery County territory including distributor management and key account management. This role supervises account leads and distributor teams to achieve sales targets, execute brand programs and drive depletion and revenue growth while working in market with a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manage day to day relationships with distributors for key accounts within the market
- Communicate guidelines and expectations to distributors to ensure flawless execution of brand strategies
- Track distributor KPIs and take corrective action as necessary
- Drive distributors to meet sales and depletion goals and execute program calendar
- Own account management for top priority accounts and manage on and off premise channel goals
- Manage program and activity calendar for distributor managed and MH managed accounts
- Propose local market programs and conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities
- Train and develop account leads and distributor teams including in market training
- Participate in market visitors, blitzes and distributor education
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in sales and channel distribution
- Deep understanding of consumer expectations within territory and distributor networks
- Strong interpersonal, people management and influencing skills
- Well developed finance and budget management skills
- Refined communication and presentation skills
- Ability to act as liaison between distributor and stakeholders and manage change
