Job Description

Summary

The Sr. Marketing Manager for Loyalty Acquisition and Early Engagement at Nordstrom is responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire and activate new Nordy Club Members and Cardmembers. This role involves leveraging data-driven insights to create innovative strategies and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive growth.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the strategy for loyalty marketing, aligning with Nordstrom's lifecycle and loyalty goals.
  • Lead the development and execution of acquisition and activation strategies for loyalty programs.
  • Leverage customer insights and collaborate with the Analytics team to refine marketing strategies.
  • Partner with various teams including Brand, Digital Merchandising, Credit, and Media to optimize cross-team processes.
  • Lead and mentor the Loyalty Marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Regularly evaluate and report on key performance indicators and translate data into actionable strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of industry experience leading loyalty programs and teams.
  • Strong experience in a customer marketing role within a retail or consumer-focused environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful loyalty marketing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with a focus on metrics and KPIs.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
