Sr. Platform Engineer, Productivity And Collaboration

Summary

Senior Platform Engineer on the Productivity and Collaboration Platforms team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise collaboration platforms and building self-service capabilities to reduce escalations and improve operational excellence. This role leads automation and integration efforts across platforms such as SharePoint, ServiceNow, MS Teams, Exchange, Slack, and Jira while participating in incident response and continuous improvement activities. The position operates in a hybrid model based in Seattle WA and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze incident and request data to identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions and integrations across collaboration platforms.
• Build deployment packages for Microsoft Software Center and manage Group Policy Objects.
• Develop and maintain AI agents and MCP servers for supported platforms.
• Author and review code, scripts, workflows, and connectors using PowerShell, Power Automate, GitHub, and related tools.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and self-service resources.
• Participate in incident response for complex or high-impact engineering issues.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and reporting for supported platforms and services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical engineering role supporting enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience deploying apps with Microsoft Software Center.
• 3+ years experience managing Group Policy Objects.
• Experience designing and building automations using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar tools.
• Experience with source control systems such as GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and incident request and change management workflows.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
