Summary

Responsible for receiving, processing and delivering merchandise to selling departments and fulfilling customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and store organization. Works independently in a fast paced environment and supports store operations including events, markdowns and stockroom organization. Requires physical ability to lift, move and handle merchandise regularly and use inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan process and research shipments
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store activities such as special events setup and fixture relocation
• Perform markdowns and organize backroom inventory

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort using various technology and computer applications
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours and perform frequent bending and reaching
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
