Job Description

Summary

As a Stock Associate, you will support the store teams in maximizing the shopping experience for all clients. You will assist in processing inventory movements and ensure effective implementation of shipment standards and operational directions related to products.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in processing all inventory movements and ensure standards are followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness, stock room organization, and sales promotion.
  • Adjust and reorganize shoe back stock on an ongoing basis.
  • Ship customer goods, corporate documents, or repairs in a timely manner.
  • Run Negative On Hand report and communicate any issues to the manager.
  • Coordinate with Store Manager about shipments, supply orders, and inventory needs.
  • Notify management of shipment discrepancies and missing tickets in back stock areas.
  • Complete damages and communicate plans to the Store Manager.
  • Perform price changes as required by corporate.
  • Guide sales staff through stockroom and sales floor changes.
  • Prepare merchandise for the sales floor with labels and pricing.
  • Perform re-ticketing, re-pricing, and markdowns as required.
  • Conduct stock checks and pulls for clients and the store team.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure all styles are represented on the sales floor.
  • Ensure stockroom cleanliness and adherence to company standards and safety requirements.
  • Protect company assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
  • Restock Cash Desk Supplies and ensure merchandise presentation maximizes sales.
  • Foster a positive work environment by respecting team member differences.
  • Assist sales staff in developing customer relationships to generate sales.
  • Fulfill Cashier duties as necessary and demonstrate superior customer service practices.
  • Maximize space utilization within the stock-room and ensure efficiency.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Strong organizational and operational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
