Summary
Part time Stock Associate responsible for receiving, organizing and maintaining merchandise inventory and supporting store operations, events and openings. This role supports stockroom organization, shipment processing, inventory adjustments and assists sales staff and management with merchandising and fulfillment tasks.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack and prepare merchandise for the sales floor
- Organize and maintain stockroom cleanliness and appropriate stock levels
- Perform stock checks, cycle counts and inventory movements
- Process shipments, returns, damages and repairs in a timely manner
- Assist with price changes, re-ticketing, re-pricing and markdowns
- Support offsite event logistics and store openings/closures
- Run Negative On Hand reports and communicate discrepancies to management
- Restock cash desk supplies and assist with cashier duties as needed
- Train and guide sales staff on stockroom and sales floor changes
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience in stockroom or retail operations
- Knowledge of inventory procedures, shipment standards and loss prevention
- Ability to perform physical tasks including unpacking and organizing merchandise
- Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and merchandising
- Good communication skills to coordinate with store management and teams
- Ability to assist on the sales floor and provide customer service
- Flexibility to support offsite events and store openings across regions
