Summary
The Stock Associate supports back-of-house operations for the boutique, maintaining stockroom organization and assisting the sales team and store management with inventory control, shipping and receiving, and order processing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the stockroom and salesfloor to company standards
- Receive and ship product deliveries on a regular basis
- Communicate shipment discrepancies to Store Director and Operations partners
- Process internal product transfers and client orders in a timely manner
- Prepare and execute weekly cycle counts of product categories
- Prepare stockroom and salesfloor for annual inventory
- Manage supply orders from internal and external vendors
- Support sales team on the salesfloor as needed
- Assist Operations team to resolve inventory discrepancies and adjustments
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience, luxury or contemporary preferred
- Experience with shipping programs, inventory management and inventory audits
- Strong organizational skills and keen eye for detail
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proactive and team centric attitude
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physical stockroom tasks and maintain visual standards
