Stock Controller - 59th Street

Summary

The Stock Controller partners with store operations, sales teams, and management to execute operational duties and ensure compliance with company procedures. This role manages inventory, shipping and receiving, supports stock associates, and maintains product availability both front and back of house.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control and maintain inventory level accuracy
• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments and direct staff for store inventories
• Execute shipping and receiving procedures and stock replenishment
• Support store staff to comply with inventory maintenance and back of house operations
• Provide customer service related to repairs and returns of merchandise
• Maintain stock product organization to meet operational guidelines
• Prepare and review availability and maintenance reports
• Perform additional operational duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years retail operations experience
• Prior luxury retail experience preferred
• Proven inventory management and reporting skills
• Proficient with MS Word Excel and Outlook
• Ability to handle merchandise and boxes typically up to 40 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and numerical ability
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Willingness to work varied hours and overtime with short notice
