Job Description

Summary

The Stock Controller manages store inventory operations to ensure accurate synchronization between physical and system stock and to support a high level of client service in a luxury retail boutique. This role handles receiving, transfers, shipments, returns, replenishment, and storage organization while working closely with sales, operations, and corporate teams.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outbound product flows including receiving, transfers, shipments, and returns
  • Manage daily replenishment of storage areas on the sales floor
  • Monitor and close expired reservations and reintegrate stock
  • Assist in resolving negative stock adjustments and investigate discrepancies
  • Manage defective and shopsoiled products and prepare for stock takes and cycle counts
  • Contribute to stock take reporting and propose corrective actions to reduce shrinkage
  • Implement and maintain optimized storage organization and stock procedures
  • Collaborate with sales, after sales, and corporate stakeholders on stock matters
  • Report on stock related KPIs and participate in team meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of operations experience; luxury retail experience preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with sales teams, inventory control, asset protection, and corporate partners
  • Strong analytical, multi tasking, organizational, and attention to detail skills
  • Proficiency with technology including Excel and inventory systems
  • Ability to train others on stock processes and tools
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
  • Proactive service oriented approach and ability to propose improvements
