Stock Controller - Madison Avenue

Summary

The Stock Controller partners with store operations and sales teams to execute operational duties and ensure compliance with company procedures. This role manages inventory, shipping and receiving, supports store staff on inventory maintenance and assists customers with repairs and returns.

Responsibilities

• Execute company service and operational standards consistently
• Manage inventory levels and perform regular inventory maintenance
• Oversee shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Direct staff for store inventories and support Stock Associates
• Provide customer service regarding repairs and return of merchandise
• Maintain stock front of house and back of house to operations guidelines
• Support store staff to comply with company initiatives and procedures
• Adhere to company operational policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years retail operations experience
• Prior luxury retail experience preferred
• Proven experience in inventory management and reporting
• Proficient with MS Word Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work varied hours including overtime with short notice
• Ability to lift and handle merchandise up to 40 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
• Effective communication and leadership skills
