Summary
The Stock Controller partners with store operations and sales teams to manage inventory control, shipping and receiving, and ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards. This role supports store staff in maintaining inventory accuracy and operational guidelines while assisting with customer inquiries related to repairs and returns.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory, shipping and receiving procedures for the store
- Oversee delivery of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Direct staff during store inventories and partner with Stock Associates
- Maintain stock both back of house and front of house to operations guidelines
- Achieve and monitor inventory level accuracy including UPT updates
- Provide customer service regarding repairs and return of merchandise
- Support store staff to comply with inventory maintenance and back of house procedures
- Adhere to company operational policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years retail operations experience
- Prior experience in luxury retail preferred
- Proven track record of inventory management and reporting
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word Excel and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively with co workers and customers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
- Ability to move and handle merchandise and boxes up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to work varied hours and overtime with short notice
- Authorized to work in the country of employment and at least 18 years old
