Summary
Responsible for correct handling of goods in store and managing the warehouse team to support front office staff, minimize inventory losses, and ensure compliance with KPIs, guidelines and company procedures. Oversees receipt, storage, transfers, e-commerce order flow, damaged and not sellable product processes, packaging and documentation management. Ensures security, cleanliness and operational coverage of the warehouse while optimizing space and supporting sales and visual teams as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure care and protection of product according to company guidelines.
- Manage goods receipt, storage, preparation for sales floor and special areas.
- Oversee shop-to-shop and returns transfers and e-commerce order flow.
- Manage damaged, not sellable, and repair product flows.
- Organize packaging, stationery, display objects and uniform and gift flows.
- Guarantee correct packaging for in-store and transfer shipments and maintain related documentation in IT systems.
- Organize, manage and execute physical and cycle inventories and warehouse activities related to sales.
- Manage, train and evaluate warehouse staff and coordinate task distribution and induction training.
- Maintain security, cleanliness and communication with Store Operations Manager for exceptions and escalations.
Requirements
- Experience in warehouse or stock management in a retail environment.
- Ability to manage and train a warehouse team and evaluate performance.
- Familiarity with inventory processes, physical and cycle counts and IT systems for stock movements.
- Strong organizational skills to optimize space and manage packaging and documentation.
- Attention to security procedures and confidentiality regarding alarm codes and related guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate with sales and visual merchandising teams and external providers.
- Effective communication skills to report to Store Manager and Store Operations Manager and handle escalations.
