Job Description

Summary

The Stock Manager oversees back-of-house operations and inventory control for the Valley Fair store. This role ensures compliance with operations and global stockroom guidelines, manages shipping and receiving, and maintains accurate inventory and reporting. The Stock Manager leads BOH staff to drive operational efficiency, prevent losses, and support the sales floor as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee policies and procedures according to the operations manual and global stockroom guidelines
  • Manage and perform daily shipping, receiving, and processing of merchandise
  • Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, perform cycle counts, and complete monthly reconciliation
  • Handle repair management and coordinate shipments for repairs
  • Maintain and order supplies, manage costs to align with budget
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and coordinate store maintenance and vendor services
  • Ensure required daily, weekly, and monthly reporting is submitted
  • Support the sales floor and execute additional management-directed projects

Requirements

  • 6+ years of operational experience within luxury retail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and retail systems such as JDA
  • Ability to lift and move bulk merchandise and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and commercial awareness
  • Proven ability to drive results and manage, coach, and develop a team
