Job Description

Summary

The Stock Supervisor oversees back-of-house operations to maintain inventory accuracy, optimize stock flow, and support the sales team. This role coordinates product intake and outflow, enforces store policies, executes cycle counts and stock-takes, and helps ensure timely omnichannel order execution. The Stock Supervisor uses company systems to manage inventory and works with management to implement loss prevention and operational improvements to enhance the client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain retail operational policies related to back-of-house and stockroom management.
  • Organize sellable product and manage timely merchandise replenishment to ensure availability on the sales floor.
  • Manage product intake, stock rotation and non-sellable items (packaging, uniforms) to optimize stock capacity.
  • Execute regular cycle counts and annual stock-takes; reconcile discrepancies and report losses or theft.
  • Coordinate omnichannel ship-from-store orders to minimize cancellations and ensure prompt fulfillment.
  • Support before-and-after-sales processes including returns, repairs and client complaints, ensuring proper product handling and care.
  • Utilize company tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Smart XP, PRISM, After Sales App) to track inventory and processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in inventory management, stockroom organization and resolving stock discrepancies.
  • Demonstrated operational leadership and ability to coordinate and guide the store team on back-of-house processes.
  • Knowledge of loss prevention practices, audit procedures and reporting of stock-related issues.
  • Proficiency with inventory and retail systems such as SAP and related tools.
  • Strong client-centric approach and ability to collaborate with sales staff and management.
