Responsibilities- Present an informative and helpful image to showroom colleagues.
- Check off all deliveries in the Stock Rooms, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Unpack deliveries and store stock in correct locations, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of stock and locations, ensuring regular stock rotation.
- Supply stock to the showroom daily and communicate any unavailable items to the manager.
- Liaise with showroom sales team and delivery staff regarding deliveries and access issues.
- Prepare damaged and excess stock for collection and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Keep Stock Rooms organized, clean, and free of obstructions, particularly fire escape routes.
- Ensure all security procedures are followed and report any issues to management.
- Suggest improvements to storage and stock control systems.
Requirements- High school diploma or higher.
- 12+ months of experience in warehouse or stock room work, or retailing.
- Knowledge of retail law, health and safety, and security requirements.
- Ability to work with heavy boxes and possess IT skills.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of world-class customer experience.
- Experience working within a high-performing team.
