Store Director

Summary

The Store Director will lead the new Chicago flagship boutique, overseeing all commercial, operational, and people activities to deliver exceptional client experiences. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing the store P&L, and ensuring inventory and merchandising excellence. The director will recruit, coach, and develop a small sales team while building a strong local presence.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and manage the store profit and loss, budgets, and KPI monitoring.
• Define and implement the store strategy, buying approach, merchandising, and inventory planning.
• Ensure stock accuracy, minimize shrinkage, and coordinate cycle counts and stock takes.
• Deliver exceptional client experience, develop client loyalty, and coordinate in-store events and local outreach.
• Provide hands-on leadership on the sales floor, coach and train sales staff, and manage recruitment and performance.
• Ensure compliance with sales procedures, systems, and operational standards; oversee maintenance and store presentation.

Requirements

• Tertiary education and proven management experience in luxury retail or a related environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience coaching, developing, and motivating teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and experience managing budgets and inventory.
• Excellent communication and networking skills, with fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong digital skills relevant to retail operations.
• Professional presentation and a client-focused approach to delivering high standards of service.
