Summary
Lead the store to deliver exceptional client experience and drive profitable performance through strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight. Partner with senior management and regional teams to set store vision, optimize staffing and inventory, and ensure consistent customer service and visual standards. Hold full profit and loss responsibility while mentoring management and sales teams to achieve sales targets and clienteling objectives.
Responsibilities
- Set store vision and drive business strategy in partnership with senior management and regional teams.
- Monitor store performance and weekly sales by category to meet and exceed targets.
- Manage profit and loss, controllable expenses, and implement staffing models to optimize sales potential.
- Oversee inventory management including cycle and physical counts using Retail Pro and POS systems.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop store management and sales staff and conduct regular training sessions.
- Ensure excellent store appearance, grooming standards, and customer service consistency.
- Implement CRM and clienteling strategies and analyze mystery shop and CRM performance.
- Handle personnel matters including hiring, terminations, payroll oversight, and scheduling.
- Plan and support collection previews and in-store events to drive traffic and sales.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years managerial experience in luxury retail with emphasis on general store management.
- Experience managing flagship or high profile stores and multi store management is a plus.
- Business school or university degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills with demonstrated results orientation.
- Proficiency with retail systems including POS and inventory management; computer literate.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and implement operational improvements.
- Experience managing P&L and controlling expenses.
