Summary
The Store Director leads all store activities to achieve business objectives while promoting an unsurpassed service culture and representing the brand. This role involves operational oversight, loss prevention compliance, visual merchandising, talent development, and client relationship building to drive sales and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Drive and maximize sales performance to meet budget and profitability targets
- Analyze monthly store performance and report trends and competitor activity
- Provide sales leadership by engaging on the sales floor and developing top client relationships
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with departments to maximize full price selling
- Train and educate associates on collection knowledge and brand strategy
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high performing team and manage staffing and scheduling
- Execute CRM initiatives and monitor database reporting to grow client relationships
- Ensure operational compliance including loss prevention audits and inventory reconciliations
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and organization of company assets
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of sales management experience in retail or luxury retail
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Ability to analyze sales reports and identify business trends
- Proven ability to drive exceptional customer experiences and loyalty
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
- Industry awareness and strong business acumen
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced retail environment
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
