Store Manager

Overview

We are a contemporary Amsterdam-based label, atelier and design studio renowned for reimagining wardrobe classics with precision, innovation and high-quality Italian fabrics. Our flagship store on Mercer Street in SoHo is slated for a soft launch in mid-August 2026 and an official opening during Fashion Week in September 2026. The Store Manager will lead a team of 5, drive performance and shape the customer experience in this new flagship setting. Reporting to the global retail leadership, this role offers an opportunity to build and grow something new in the heart of New York City’s high-end downtown scene.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by meeting and exceeding sales targets and long-term business objectives in collaboration with the Amsterdam-based retail team
  
• Build, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering growth, engagement and accountability among Assistant Store Manager, Senior Client Advisor and Client Advisors
  
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring seamless execution of all activities and exceptional customer service
  
• Create and manage staff schedules aligned with business needs and peak traffic periods
  
• Monitor budgets, costs and expenses, maintaining a structured and sustainable financial approach
  
• Manage inventory, logistics, replenishment and sell-through to optimize stock levels and product availability
  
• Ensure accurate implementation of internal processes, reporting and compliance standards
  
• Provide insights and feedback to the Amsterdam-based team based on client behavior, sales data and market trends
  
• Plan and execute in-store activations, client events and trunk shows to enhance brand presence and engagement
  
• Continuously refine workflows and operational procedures to drive efficiency and elevate the guest experience
  

Requirements

• Minimum five years of store management experience within the luxury or premium retail sector
  
• Demonstrated expertise in womenswear
  
• Deep understanding of downtown New York City’s retail landscape and clientele
  
• Alignment with a calm, professional and relationship-focused brand DNA
  
• Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate diverse teams
  
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of building new initiatives from the ground up
  
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in KPI monitoring and CRM systems
  
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and special events
