Job Description

Summary

The Store Operations Associate supports store and operations managers to ensure efficient, compliant and well-maintained retail locations. The role oversees goods receipt, back-of-house standards, inventory processes and logistics to protect product and support sales. This position works closely with store teams, vendors, loss prevention and corporate partners to achieve operational KPIs and deliver an excellent client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure store compliance with company policies, procedures and operational guidelines through regular checks and audits.
  • Manage goods receipt, storage, preparation for the sales floor and shop-to-shop or return transfers following company procedures.
  • Prepare and support inventory counts, cycle counts and reconciliations across stores and follow up on negative-on-hand and consignments.
  • Act as point of contact for cleaning companies, contractors, security and loss prevention and coordinate repairs or emergency responses.
  • Support onboarding and training of store teams on back-of-house organisation, stock care and operational processes.
  • Manage OMNI order flow, packaging and stationary logistics and evaluate couriers to ensure efficient shipping and supplies.
  • Support in-store events, after-sales processes, uniform distribution and other operational projects as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail operations with a track record of supporting store efficiency and compliance.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and sound analytical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to be flexible with regular travel and occasional weekend or evening shifts and to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, be mobile and lift packages of up to 35 lbs regularly.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to establish credibility with team members and external partners.
  • Experience training or guiding store teams on inventory and back-of-house procedures.
