Summary
Provide exemplary customer experience by supporting all store operations functions including shipping and receiving, stock room, cash office, repairs, and operational administrative duties to ensure efficient store performance.
Responsibilities
- Support inventory preparation and execution for store operations.
- Process incoming and outgoing merchandise according to company standards.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, transfer and alteration documents and related paperwork.
- Manage control and replenishment of office and facility supplies and grooming products.
- Work with accounts payable to ensure invoices are approved and processed promptly.
- Support loss prevention and asset protection procedures to reduce shrink.
- Coordinate engraving and embossing services as needed.
- Partner with store leadership to assess and improve processes and provide solutions.
- Operate register and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 lbs and using ladders as trained.
Requirements
- Relevant retail or store operations experience preferred.
- Strong time management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative team player able to support multiple departments.
- Proficiency with computers preferred including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday and Outlook.
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room and office and perform physical duties.
- Ability to operate cash register and stand or walk for multiple hours.
- Attention to product presentation and maintaining an elevated brand image.
