Job Description

Summary

The Store Planning & Facilities Intern will support the Store Planning and Retail Facilities teams in executing new store openings, relocations, and expansion projects while managing facilities invoice and financial workflows in SAP. This role provides hands-on experience in retail design, project coordination, and facilities operations within the luxury sector. The intern will assist project managers with tracking timelines, organizing drawings and specifications, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers by tracking timelines, action logs, and deliverables for store openings, relocations, and expansions.
  • Organize, maintain, and distribute architectural drawings, space plans, and design specification packages to internal teams and vendors.
  • Coordinate communications with consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to align on project milestones.
  • Prepare status reports, presentation decks, and visual documentation for project reviews.
  • Manage end-to-end invoice processing for Facilities: log, verify, and route invoices for approval.
  • Process purchase requisitions, create purchase orders, and manage goods receipts using SAP; reconcile vendor accounts and track facilities expenditures.
  • Maintain digital archives of contracts, service agreements, and financial documentation; coordinate minor maintenance work orders as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Architecture, or Interior Design.
  • Prior experience with or strong familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems and financial tracking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software is a plus.
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
