SummaryAs the Store Planning and Construction Director, you will be responsible for the direct management of all store types across Latin America, Miami, and the Caribbean. Reporting to the Zone President, you will ensure optimal project delivery for Tiffany & Co.'s retail and trade projects, maintaining luxury quality on budget and on schedule. You will oversee a team of project managers and external consultants, ensuring alignment with Tiffany's global design and planning requirements.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic and tactical leadership for optimal project and brand delivery.
- Create a culture of high performance and quality in construction, sourcing, and vendor management.
- Evaluate and improve performance of internal and external resources.
- Negotiate design and technical requirements, scheduling, budgeting, and hiring.
- Develop design and business acumen considering regional context and practices.
- Oversee regional Store Planning teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Liaise with regional leads for strategic planning and budgeting of new locations and renovations.
- Establish competitive bidding and project-related legal and financial controls.
- Monitor compliance of quality, budget, and schedule standards.
- Conduct post-opening project audits and implement improvements.
- Support Store Design with research and development programs.
- Collaborate with Global Procurement to identify efficiencies.
- Review lease requirements and architectural drawings for new locations.
Requirements- 10+ years of relevant experience with a B.A. in Architecture and/or Construction.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to organize teams around competing priorities.
- Experience with cross-functional teams and collaborative thinking.
- Client-focused with ability to create alignment.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese preferred.
