Strategy Associate - Enterprise Strategy

As a Strategy Associate in the Enterprise Strategy team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of Nordstrom. • Support the development of strategic projects across key focus areas including merchandise, marketing, supply chain, and business unit support.
• Manage project inputs from start to finish in a rapidly changing environment.
• Develop insights through complex model creation and maintenance.
• Conduct primary and secondary research to support strategic initiatives.
• Develop materials to effectively communicate insights and recommendations.
• Build credibility with business partners to gain support for analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including key functions and business units.

• 2+ years of experience with a leading management consulting firm or in retail strategy.
• Strong interest in retail and understanding of industry dynamics.
• Strong quantitative skills including model building and insight generation.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree required.
