Summary
The Studio Project Leader will oversee key phases of interior design projects for RH Interior Design, delivering a luxury client experience from concept through installation. This role coordinates project timelines, vendor partners, procurement, and cross-functional teams to ensure design and project deliverables meet client expectations and organizational standards. The position requires strong relationship management, attention to documentation, and regular client and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of interior design projects including consultations, site assessments, design development, 3D renderings, presentations, order placement, and installations.
- Provide a luxury client experience and deliver regular status updates, progress reports, timelines, and scope change communications.
- Manage relationships and communications with outsourced vendor partners, artisans, local showrooms, trades, construction teams, and project managers.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project and design documentation for client-appointed parties and internal teams.
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and sales to align resources, timelines, and project strategy.
- Ensure project schedules and timelines are met and navigate scope changes with proper documentation and approvals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of project management experience within the interior design or architecture industry overseeing projects from concept to completion.
- Experience in a design firm, high-end furniture showroom, or luxury retail environment preferred.
- Strategic, relationship-driven mindset with commitment to ongoing professional growth and mentorship.
- Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications; familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
- Ability to travel locally and domestically up to 25%.
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs using appropriate equipment and techniques.
